Yesterday afternoon, I attended a workshop about special effects screen make-up. I learnt about how to use make up to protray injuries like burns and bullet wounds.
We all got to have a go with mixing the materials and applying it to each other. There was fake blood and strawberry jelly, and foundation powder – so don’t be too shocked when you see the photograph above.
I found it really interesting finding out out they make the gory scenes in action movies look so realistic. One day I hope to work on the production of action films or TV. The workshop in Edinburgh was run by SKAMM (Scottish Kids are Making Movies).
It was a great afternoon.
